  6. For the Hines novel, think Cinderella after the wedding and if the story was slightly exaggerated. It's the first in a new series featuring twists on various fairy tale princesses. I can't wait to find the second one.

  9. Great idea for a contest.

It has been a long time since I've read something I actually adored. With school and such, I didn't do much reading and the reading I did do wasn't something that qualifies as "adored". So, this is a tough call. In May I may have a different answer as I'm going to read 10+ books in one week.

Guess I shall go with my favorite book from several years ago that I later re-read. American Gods by Neil Gaiman. I recommend it to most people, unless they seem really close-minded and/or would be uncomfortable with certain scenes in the book.

  18. Welcome back!!

I just finished the 4th Percy Jackson book; it's a MG fantasy series about Greek mythology if you've never heard of it, and it's a great, quick read.

Also, Beastly by Alex Flin- it's a YA retelling of Beauty and the Beast from the Beast's pov; and Dreamquake (sequel to Dreamhunter) by Elizabeth Knox is a YA (historical-ish) fantasy. Both were really good.

Good luck picking a book! :P

  22. Welcome back! Thanks for a great giveaway! I just read a great book which had been on my wish list for a long while: "Summer of Two Wishes" by Julia London. It was even better than I expected! Ms. London has stated that she will be writing more books for the setting of the story line. Hopefully she will give the guy with the broken heart his own HEA!
