I absolutely loved this book and I am so happy to announce that Carrie from Sourcebooks Fire is providing a copy to be given away to one lucky reader! You can read my review for The Summer of Skinny Dipping at this link.
Book Summary from publisher:
Sixteen year-old Mia has sworn off romance for good in the wake of her breakup with a cheating boyfriend. She is hoping that a summer on the Long Island shore with her glamorous cousins will take her mind off her troubles and allow her to relive idyllic childhood memories. But when she arrives in Southampton, her cousins are distant, moody, and caught up with a bad crowd…and Mia soon finds herself lonelier than ever.
That's when she meets her next-door neighbor, Simon Ross. Simon isn't like the snobby party boys her cousins are obsessed with. He is funny, artistic, and utterly adventurous. And from the very first time he encourages Mia to go skinny dipping, she's caught up in a current impossible to resist.

I would go to Mexico Beach florida and I would want to go back in time with my husband when we both were around 15 -16 yrs old we didn't know each other then but I would have loved to have that summer fling then and see what he was like back then. We would most likely want to explore each other! ;)

ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend and I live in the heartland of soccer moms and mini vans, so I would love for us to spend a summer somewhere urban like New York City, where we could dress up for Broadway shows, hit Central Park for picnics and people watching, eat at a different restaurant every night and of course have our big romantic moment at the top of the Empire State Building =)
What would I do for a romantic summer? Hmm. I'd go to Paris with my hubby, sleep in late at a B&B, find hidden little cafes and shop along the Seine.
ReplyDeleteBut time in New York also sounds like fun.

I want to have fun with this and I'd love to if I was not married, spend any amount of time with Luke Perry! I've always loved him since I started watching 90210 ay 16 and I still can't get over him. Thats all coming from dream land, I've really live happily with my husband and we have wonderful summers for real all the time. :)
