But when Nikki’s father tells her some disturbing news, she must make a choice that will forever change her life. Will Nikki give up her life in Erin Heights to forever live in the Shadowlands? What will happen if Nikki makes the wrong choice? Will her family and friends be hurt if she disappeared forever?
Demon Princess : Reign or Shine is the first young adult book written by popular paranormal romance author, Michelle Rowen and also the first book in the Demon Princess Series. I have adored, devoured, and inhaled every book that I’ve read by this author and I knew I was in for a treat when I heard she ventured out into writing Young Adult books.
Demon Princess : Reign or Shine is a romantic fantasy story filled with suspense and secrets to be revealed. The fantasy world is nicely described and made it feel like a dark fairy tale at times. This book is compulsively addicting and I guarantee you won’t be able to put it down until the exciting conclusion.
I loved the characters and was sad to see the story end. Nikki is a lovable character that you can’t help but root for, despite her being half demon. Overall, I loved reading this new series and I can’t wait to follow Nikki Donovan into more adventures in the next book, Demon Princess: Reign Check due out in June 2010.
